SHOWING UP was a live-streamed reality web series by Transcendent Media Capital during Davos 2020. This limited series was redefining audience-driven media by placing the power of impact directly into the hands of viewers. The core concept revolves around individuals making a tangible difference in social and environmental issues that resonate with them. This innovative series showcased the inclusion of women in traditionally male-dominated spaces and leadership roles, children expressing their voices to invent solutions, and men courageously stepping outside the status quo to champion transformative change. The interactive nature of "Showing Up" elevates the viewer experience. Audiences actively engage during the live stream, providing comments and suggestions that hosts can address in real-time. This unique dynamic empowers the audience to influence the direction of the show, fostering a sense of shared ownership in the narratives unfolding onscreen.

 

The visual identity transcends simplicity and symbolism. A simple bold sans-serif fonts with a minimalistic aesthetic, fostering clarity and ease of understanding. The icon, comprised of two triangles, encapsulates a powerful narrative. In this visual metaphor, the larger female triangle within a harmonious interplay with the male triangle signifies the empowerment of women in a traditionally male-dominated world, championing equality and strength.

Central to the icon is a filled circle, symbolising wholesomeness and unity within a community. Its presence emphasises the strength that emerges when individuals come together, fostering a sense of togetherness and collaboration.

In the vibrant palette, orange takes center stage. This enthusiastic and emotional color radiates warmth and joy, infusing the design with a sense of optimism and upliftment. It encourages social communication and creativity, reflecting a youthful and energetic spirit.

Complementing the vibrancy of orange is the grounding influence of dark blue. This serene and calming color prevents chaos, creating an environment that soothes and relaxes. Dark blue opens up channels of communication, fostering a sense of clarity and understanding within the community.
